TORRANCE, Calif. – Sept. 15, 2021 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., announced that the farm/life sim game, STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town, is sprouting up on a new platform today with its release for Windows PC via Steam. Previously released on the Nintendo Switch™ system in North America on Mar. 23, both the Nintendo Switch™ system and Windows PC versions have also unveiled the ‘Princess Sakuna’s Heavenly Garb’ costume DLC, which will be available for free download until Mar. 30, 2022.
STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town arrives on PC today with visual updates and customization options familiar to PC gamers, and includes all available post-launch patches from the Nintendo Switch™ version. The title is currently available with a standard edition priced at $39.99 and an ‘Expansion Pass Set’ bundling the game with the ‘Expansion Pass’ priced at $59.99, both with a 10% launch week discount. The ‘Expansion Pass’, which grants access to 14 DLC sets with new costumes, characters and mini-scenarios, is available separately for $19.99. The PC version also releases with additional DLC costumes including the Buffalo, Fox, and Panda costumes as well as ‘Neil’s Jacket’—allowing you to dress up as everyone’s favorite anti-social marriage candidate—priced at $1.99 each.
STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town is a brand-new adventure in the original farming simulation series that drops eager explorers in Olive Town, a charming seaside community on the edge of the untamed frontier, where they will work to breathe life back into their grandfather’s dilapidated farm. Though it may at first appear to be a sleepy burg, Olive Town is home to dozens of unique characters to befriend when players are ready to take a break from building their dream farm—a farm where further exploration can yield magical lands where seasons never change, an island in the sky and even a unicorn to ride!
