Meet Sharance’s Eligible Bachelorettes in the Latest Video for Rune Factory 3 Special, Releasing on PC and Nintendo Switch™ Sept. 5

XSEED Games today shared a new video for Rune Factory 3 Special, a remastered and expanded version of the classic RPG/Life Sim set to release on the Nintendo Switch™ system and Windows PC via Steam on Sept. 5. Today’s video introduces the 11 bachelorettes that protagonist Micah will encounter in his daily life – at least when he’s not tending to his farm or exploring dangerous dungeons. Rune Factory 3 Special features a legendary cast of marriageable ladies including Shara, a kindhearted young woman with a powerful sense of justice; Sofia, an heiress who always says exactly the opposite of what she means; and Raven, a prickly blacksmith’s assistant who doesn’t like small talk – or any talk at all.

Rune Factory 3 Special returns more than a decade after its original release on Nintendo DS! The remastered version of the popular entry in the Rune Factory series is being developed with gorgeous HD graphics and redesigned 3D character models that improve upon the original designs while retaining their unique appeal. These improved visuals are bolstered by new features including “Newlywed Mode,” standalone adventures for each of the game’s 11 bachelorettes unlocked after each has been married ,and a “Hell” difficulty designed for series veterans and RPG fans hungry for an uncompromising challenge.

Published on the Nintendo Switch™ in North America and on Windows PC via Steam worldwide by XSEED Games, Rune Factory 3 Special is scheduled for release on Sept. 5, 2023. The title is currently available for physical pre-order through the XSEED Games Store; the “Golden Memories Edition” for Nintendo Switch which includes the game, an acrylic standee featuring protagonists from Rune Factory 3 Special, Rune Factory 4 Special, and Rune Factory 5, original soundtrack CD, custom 5” by 8” planner containing in-game seasons in addition to a real-world calendar, and “Swimsuit Mode” DLC, for a suggested retail price of $79.99, and the base game on Nintendo Switch is available physically for a suggested retail price of $39.99. All physical pre-orders through the XSEED Games Store will also include the option to bundle the game with an adorable Golden Wooly keychain, modeled after Micah’s sheep form, for an additional $5 while supplies last.
