Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Patch Notes *Update 10/01*

Update 10/01: The Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma 1.1.0 update is now available worldwide for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Please see the updated patch notes below.

Features 
Adventuring 

  • Added four extremely difficult boss gauntlets which you can challenge after completing the main quest “Guardians of Azuma.” 

Village Life 

  • Added a new development zone to Summer Village which you can access after reaching Village Level 8. 
  • Upon reaching Village Level 10, the maximum number of facilities you can place has increased by 5, and the maximum number of decorations you can place is now 256 across the board. 
  • Expanded the Storage Box capacity from 810 to 1,200. 
  • Expanded the Seeds & Such capacity from 300 to 400. 
  • Tsubame’s Early Bird Boutique will now sell Chocolate after you reach a certain Village Level. 
  • Added sorting functionality to the VillageBuilding menus, forging menus at blacksmiths, and building menus at carpenters. 

Socializing 

  • Increased the maximum Bond Level to 100. 
  • You will earn various recipes and items at certain Bond Levels for each character. 

Bug Fixes 

  • Fixed a bug where villagers tasked with farming would sometimes harvest crops even when the action was set to Off. 
  • Fixed bugs related to some NPC conversations during festivals and contests. 
  • Additional minor bug fixes.

Features

  • Adds the ability to adjust village farmer behavior in the Options menu. You can now toggle the following tasks on or off: sow seeds, water fields, and harvest crops.

Bug Fixes

  • Minor bug fixes
  • Adds a message to the Nintendo Switch 2 version on first startup for all players indicating that the game includes In-Game Purchases. (North America Only)
  • Adjusted the volume of certain lines for Zaza and Woolby in Japanese.
  • The Sacred Sword can now harvest crops over a wider range.
  • Added new warp points for Spring Village’s and Autumn Village’s development zones.
  • Fixed a bug where players could not obtain the Evasive Leg Guards. You can now purchase them at blacksmiths once your village level is high enough.
  • Fixed a bug where the ema plaque request “The Divine Sword Dance is the Best!” would not be available.
  • Adjusted the Blade Shard drop rate so you can now obtain them from high-level toad and fallen warrior enemies.
  • Fixed bugs that halted progression during certain Bonding Quests.
  • Fixed a crash bug upon start-up caused by failure to obtain display information. (PC Only)

The Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma 1.0.4 update is now available worldwide on Windows PC via Steam.

  • Adjusted the frequency of certain “Woolby” voice lines.
  • Fixed an issue where player names could not include character names from the game.
  • Fixed an issue in which certain Bonding Quests and main story quests could not progress.
  • Fixed an issue in which some Ema Plaque Requests and Village Missions could not be completed..
  • Fixed an issue where the Sacred Treasure “Parasol” could not ride updrafts when the framerate setting was too high. (PC Only)
  • Other minor fixes and adjustments.
