TORRANCE, Calif., — June 6, 2026 — XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., and Little Chicken Game Company today joined the Wholesome Direct showcase to reveal an eerily cozy new trailer for their upcoming supernatural (un-)life sim Moonlight Peaks, releasing on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, Windows PC via Steam, and Google Play Games on July 7, 2026. Alongside the deeper look into the night life in the titular town and its inhabitants, the publisher announced the launch of a new demo on PC and Nintendo Switch™. Sprinkled with mystery and magic, this all-new demo welcomes prospective residents to experience features like character creation and several magical mini-games, new interactions with charming residents throughout the world, and more detailed glimpses of the relaxing afterlife that awaits in the full game. The demo is available to download now for free via Steam or eShop, with the Nintendo Switch™ version fully playable on Nintendo Switch™ 2.
Digital pre-orders on Nintendo platforms in the Americas are also now available and come with a special early-”bat” discount of 15% off the regular price of $34.99 for the standard edition for Nintendo Switch™ and $39.99 for the Nintendo Switch™ 2, through launch on July 7. When the game launches, the special discount will expand, covering Nintendo platforms in the Americas, and PC and Google Play Games globally for 7 days. Players who purchase the Nintendo Switch™ version will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version via an Upgrade Pack available at launch for an additional $5.00.

The game will be published in Europe by Marvelous Europe. This title has been rated “T for Teen” by the ESRB on consoles and mobile; the PC release has not been rated.
