XSEED Games Launches DAEMON X MACHINA on Windows PC

Torrance, Calif. – February 13, 2020 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., has officially launched DAEMON X MACHINA, the high-speed mech action game from the visionary mind of producer Kenichiro Tsukuda on Windows PC via Steam. The title is now available for purchase digitally with a launch week discount of 10% off of its normal MSRP of $59.99, €59.99, and £49.99, ending on February 20. All copies purchased during the first month following launch will include the exclusive Prototype Arsenal Set, which will also be available for purchase separately at a later date, and the Metallic Equipment Set, which is only available as an early bird bonus and will not be sold separately.

DAEMON X MACHINA includes a host of visual improvements as it blasts onto the new platform including 4K resolution support and a max frame rate of 200 FPS. Players are thrust into a battle for the survival of mankind against the rebellious AIs known as “Immortals,” and will need quick thinking and quicker reflexes to overcome these mercilessly efficient foes. Customizable loadouts and optional cybernetic upgrades to their characters offer players the ability to tweak their Arsenal’s loadout to best suit their playstyle or counter powerful enemies, who may in turn be salvaged to discover new tools of destruction. Launching with all available DLC and updates, with the exception of certain licensed DLC items, the PC release for DAEMON X MACHINA includes online multiplayer and co-op play with both PvP-focused Versus Modes and PvE-focused Co-Op modes with up to three additional friends.

Welcome to your battlefield. DAEMON X MACHINA puts players in the cockpit in a fight for the future of humanity. Taking the role of an Outer, a new breed of human that emerged following a global catastrophe, players will suit up and pilot their fully customizable mechs, called Arsenals, on the front line of a desperate war for survival against corrupted AIs known as “Immortals.” Team up with fellow mercenaries in the Orbital organization to turn the tide, but be careful – mercenaries always have their price, and today’s allies can become tomorrow’s enemies.

Soar across the battlefield in an Arsenal mech to combat the Immortals wherever they appear – in crumbling cities, strange deserts, and inside of massive facilities. As players progress through missions, they will be able to salvage new equipment from defeated enemies, providing more combat options ranging from laser swords to explosive artillery, and can customize their characters with a variety of cosmetic modifications and cybernetic upgrades that grant new skills. Players can also participate in online 1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 2 Versus Modes with competitive leaderboards for top mercenaries, or team up for Co-op Modes, allowing up to four players to team up to take on Colossal Immortals or explore randomly generated Immortal bases for powerful rewards.
